In just about any dresser drawer, one can find a pair of eyeglasses that are no longer being used. That same pair of eyeglasses can change another person's life.  Lion's Clubs International offers an eyeglasses recycling program.
You can drop off your old eyewear at collection boxes in the community,  including places like libraries, schools, churches and optometrist offices.  Check with you local community organizations or Lion's Club to find out where you can drop-off or visit the site at the link above to find their club locator and othe info on the recycling program.
