Document Destruction / Paper Shredding
- Records Management, Inc. This facility is located at 101 E. Maple Avenue in Mundelein (near the intersection of Route 176 and Highway 45). It is located just behind the building on the southeast corner. Accepted materials include: office paper, files, computer printouts, mail, and pre-shredded paper. No binders, metals or video media will be accepted. Certificates of destruction will be provided to all participants upon request. - Paper Tiger Document Solutions: Secure Paper Document Shredding is located 2 doors down from SWALCO at 1101 N. Estes Street, Gurnee, IL 60031. They have eighteen years experience in record storage and management, digital imaging and media/document destruction and offer secure document shredding to Lake County residents. The Gurnee based facility will be open on the second Saturday of every month from 9 AM until 1 PM to coincide with SWALCO's HCW drop-off days. There is a fee of $2 per box. A certificate of destruction will be issued upon request. Accepted: mixed paper, no need to remove paper clips, staples, binders etc. The sensitive paper material will be immediately shredded. The entire process is captured on video surveillance. The shredded material will then be baled, pulped and recycled to make other paper products. A guaranteed eco-friendly process!
