Overview
The Agency's Legislative Committee was established to formulate legislative policy and to react quickly to proposed state and federal legislation. The Committee has five members elected by the Board, with John Norris (Riverwoods Mayor Emeritus) serving as chairman. The Agency Chairperson serves as an ex-officio member of the committee. Legislative policy applies to state and federal government, and is formulated and expressed to our state and congressional representatives by Agency staff and legislative committee members as well as collectively through organizations which the Agency or its members are affiliated.
