Effective October 1, 2025, the Village of Grayslake Recycling Center will no longer accept cardboard boxes, mixed paper, plastic containers, aluminum cans, steel cans, and glass bottles and jars. These materials may now be dropped off at the WM Lake County Recycling Center located at 30869 IL-83, Grayslake, IL 60030. The WM Lake County Recycling Center hours are Mon - Fri 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. The Village of Grayslake Recycling Center located at 585 Berry Avenue will continue to collect and recycle electronics, food scraps, clothing, and textiles Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 3:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am to Noon..
